“The best type of inspiration is the kind that makes you want to save a life.” - Cameron Evans, age 13
“Relays4Cam” is a way for swimmers and their teams, through participation in a sport they love, to live by Cameron’s message and be inspired to help raise community awareness about childhood cancer as well as much needed funds to support childhood cancer research. Since the inception of Relays4Cam in 2014, swimmers of all ages and abilities together have raised $125,000 for Cure4Cam, 100% of which go towards research into new, less toxic therapies in an effort to create a future in which cancer treatment for children will be gentler and more effective.
We thank you for your donation!
Thank you for wanting to donate to the Cure4Cam Childhood Cancer Foundation to help fund research into less toxic treatments and cures for childhood cancers. Although Cure4Cam will be nolonger be accepting donations, we remain passionate about the childhood cancer research cause, and we will continue to honor Cameron’s memory. In its place, Cameron’s family has established the Cure4Cam Hero Fund through ALSF. (https://www.alexslemonade.org/affiliation/alsf-fund-cure4cam) We know Cameron’s legacy will live on in our minds and our hearts and would be overjoyed if you would continue to honor him and other children running their own race against these diseases as well. As a long-time Charity Partner of ALSF, we ask that you continue to support childhood cancer research through that wonderful organization, perhaps in Cameron’s name. With your continued help, we believe that one day there will be a cure!
