Founded by Charlin Hughes, Clay Farmer, and Wesley Bell, Humanity in the Middle Inc. is a nonprofit organization that engages a diverse population of Junior and Senior Scholars in the St. Louis Region to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the communities served. Humanity in the Middle annually takes 15 to 30 scholars on an all-expense paid trip to a city rich in Black History and Excellence. Law enforcement chaperoned these trips, creating a safe space for both groups to see the humanness in the other and setting the precedence for strong genuine trusting "forever" relationships to form. If our scholars allow, we help them navigate life. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Humanity in the Middle provides year-round mentorship and assistance for all scholars, alum included because WE ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THEIR VILLAGE. Your generous DONATION or SPONSORSHIP will help fund our 2024 trip to Charleston, SC, quarterly alum gatherings and mentoring sessions, financial assistance for our scholars, and much more!!!
