Event Description
We welcome children to meet 7-Foot Santa (City Commissioner, Matt Morgan) at the historic Bradlee-McIntyre House. Each family will get a reserved 15-minute time slot, which includes 10 minutes of fun activities and 5 minutes with Santa. Before you meet Santa, you will be ushered through a couple of activity stations to prepare for your meeting.
Once you come into the main room to see Santa on his throne chair, you can take photos with the big guy. You can use your own phone, and we will also have a professional photographer there.
Price: $5 (which includes digital photos)

About Our Santa
Matt Morgan is a former professional wrestler, actor, and television personality. After a college basketball career, including a trip to the NCAA Tournament, he debuted as an imposing 7-foot-tall wrestler in 2003. He became famous for his work on WWE's SmackDown and TNA's Impact Wrestling, where he was a two-time World Tag Team Champion and feuded with Hulk Hogan. He also appeared on the reboot of "American Gladiators." As a wrestler, he became widely known as "The Blueprint" and had a signature move called the Carbon Footprint.
When his son (Jackson) was born, Matt retired from professional wrestling to focus on being a great dad. And that has indeed been his greatest role yet! Jackson is non-verbal autistic. Matt and his wife, Larissa, celebrate every victory in their son's life and have become advocates for autism awareness.
Since then, Matt has moved into politics. He has served on the Longwood City Commission since 2017, including two terms as mayor. Matt is a member of the Longwood Historic Society and spends his time supporting many local charity organizations. He was recently presented the “Hometown Hero Award” for his years of work in the community.
