Clinic Goals
Educating to empower female runners, parents and coaches.
This is a one day clinic to educate females runners to positively impact and promote healthy lifelong success in running and life. Topics include nutrition, goals, mindset, confidence, perseverance and more. Speakers include an Olympian, NCAA All-Americans, Collegiate Coach, Nutritionist and Sports Psychologist.

FAQ
Who is this for? This is for any female athlete interested in learning about nutrition, motivation, overcoming mental challenges, dealing with adversity, persevering and other healthy habits to lead to successful lifelong activity. The focus will be females in junior high or high school in running, but all female athletes are welcome.
Can parents attend? Yes, we highly encourage parents to participate and learn as well. We will have a few breakout sessions specifically for parents.
Can coaches attend? Yes, we highly encourage coaches to attend. This is a great opportunity learn about nutrition, sports psychology and other current topics of interest to take back and utilitze to help your team.
What do I get with athlete only registration? The athlete will receive a clinic t-shirt, lunch, continental breakfast and clinic notes from speakers. Additionally, you will have the ability to meet with speakers during lunch time.
What comes with athlete and parent registration? The athlete will get everything stated previously with athlete only registration. The parent will have the ability to attend all clinic sessions and lunch will be provided.
What does the coach get with registration? The coach will be provided clinic notes, lunch and the ability to network with speakers and other coaches.
What does the schedule look like?
Schedule:
8:15-9:00 - Group Run (optional) The run with start at the front entrance of the elementary school and we will run on crushed limestone trail. Chance to run and interact with some of the speakers. We will have locker rooms available post run to shower and change.
8:45-9:30 - Continental Breakfast (yogurt, fruit, muffins, coffee)
9:00-9:30 - Conference check-in (Minster Elementary Cafeteria)
9:30-9:40 - Opening remarks
9:40-10:30 - Session #1 Dr. Jake Cooper & Abbey Cooper (Keynote Speaker)
10:40-11:25 - Session #2 Dara Ford (Personal story of overcoming anemia)
11:30-12:15 -Session #3 Abby Grim (Nutrition)
12:15-1:00 - Lunch provided (box lunch)
1:00-1:45 - Session #4 Dr. Sunni Lomnicki (bone stress/injury prevention)
