Heroes Cup Hockey Tournament

Hit the ice with some of our nation’s greatest heroes as we drop the puck for our first annual hockey tournament in support of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation!

• Team 4. Civilian "Top Fundraising" Club Team

Qualifying Games (1st set of games)

• Red Rink – Game 1 - Team 1 (FDNY) vs Team 4 (Civilian Club Team)
• Blue Rink – Game 2 -Team 2 (NYPD) vs Team 3 (Coast Guard)

Medal Games (2nd set of games)

• Red Rink – Heroes Cup (Winner of Game 1 vs Winner of Game 2)
• Blue Rink – Bronze Medal (Loser of Game 1 vs Loser of Game 2)

THE MISSION

The mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.

THE CAUSE
The first annual Heroes Cup Hockey Tournament will take place at Northwell Ice Rink. The full day, four team single elimination tournament with championship and  consolation games, includes bitter rivals the FDNY and NYPD hockey teams, as well as the United States Coast Guard National Team. Through the daylong event we will be raising awareness for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T). T2T raises money for first responders and their families. Donations are used to pay off mortgages, build smart homes for the catastrophically injured and more.
