Lisa Martz Charity Golf Classic

Colorectal cancer is cancer of the colon and rectum and is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. It is equally common in men and women and can be detected through regular colon screenings. With recommended screening, this cancer is preventable, treatable, and beatable.

Rumpshaker, Inc. is a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote awareness about colorectal cancer, raise funds to fight and treat it, and provide hope for colorectal cancer survivors and those affected by the disease. Our message is simple: TAKE A DAY TO SAVE YOUR LIFE! Regular colon screenings can detect precancerous polyps which can reduce your risk of developing colon cancer. Sadly, many individuals have misconceptions about this routine procedure. Our goal is to educate individuals about the importance of scheduling regular screenings.

In 2014, we established the Lisa Martz Hope Fund. Through this fund, we are able to touch the lives of those in our community who have been impacted by this disease. From providing a support network for patients and their families to providing scholarship opportunities for family members of those affected by this disease, Rumpshaker Inc., is committed to making a difference in our community.

Thank you so much for your support of the Lisa Martz Hope Scholarship Fund. All donations will be used to assist college students in Alabama whose families have been affected by colon cancer.
