We are announcing the Ken Seaman Scholarship Fund for Midwinter Bluegrass Festival! Ken was not only the founder of Midwinter but was also a lifelong educator and a leader in the bluegrass community. He supported so many bands and was so encouraging to people interested in bluegrass. The Ken Seaman Scholarship Fund honors Ken’s legacy by providing financial support to aspiring musicians dedicated to bluegrass music. This fund aims to nurture the next generation of talent, offering scholarships to attend Midwinter Bluegrass Festival, meet performers and participate in workshops. Contributions help launch this initiative and will help us grow this fund for the future. By helping support those who otherwise would not be able to attend, we celebrate Ken’s commitment to fostering a vibrant bluegrass community for years to come.
