  • Chef #1 Roza Segoviano

    $5

    Executive Chef/Co-Owner VIVA! Hospitality Group

Roza is the Executive Chef behind a collection of six southern Indiana restaurants which she co-owns with her husband, Juan. VIVA! Hospitality Group encompasses the beloved and popular dining spots Senor Iguanas Restaurantes Mexicanos, La Catrina Mexican Kitchen, La Catrina Tacos & Tequila and Sleepy Rooster Morning Kitchen.  Originally from Ohio, Roza grew up in a rich culinary environment that instilled in her the belief that many of life’s most cherished moments are shared around the dinner table. She fondly recalls working alongside her mother and grandmother helping to prepare home-cooked meals, discovering early on that she was absolutely happiest in the kitchen. With over two decades of culinary experience, Roza takes immense pride in her craft and is committed to cultivating a sense of community around the dining experience.  As a proud resident of southern Indiana, Roza firmly believes that locals should have access to exceptional meals and vibrant atmospheres without having to venture across a bridge. This belief inspires her to create compelling reasons for SoIn diners to stay on the “sunny side of Louisville.”  Roza is a staple in her restaurant kitchens and can usually be found working on the line or testing new recipes. Outside of her culinary pursuits she is an avid reader, loves traveling and cherishes spending time with her husband, three children and her very needy Maltese puppy.
