Sea Turtle Recovery is offering behind the scenes tours EXCLUSIVELY for those who purchase a ticket now to both the Bruncheon Event and $25 behind the scenes. The Behind the Scenes tickets are nontransferable and must be purchased at the time of purchasing the Bruncheon Event tickets. The tours last approximately 25 to 30 minutes. STR is a hospital for sick wildlife. Photography and interaction with the animals is prohibited by STR’s Federal Permits. STR reserves the right to cancel the tour and/or remove any unruly person(s) at any time, at STR’s discretion. All sea turtles found in U.S. waters are listed under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Violations are punishable by law.
Tours dates during our peak season will be in March and April 2024 promptly at 4:30pm. Signup sheets at the Bruncheon Event will be available to choose which date you desire on a “first come first served basis”. All parties are expected to meet STR in front of the zoo entrance promptly at 4:30pm. Being more than 5 minutes late on your scheduled day will result in loss of tour without a refund. While STR’s building is ADA compliant, not all areas of the facility are ADA accessible. Please notify STR of any concerns or special needs during scheduling.
Understand that STR is a hospital and scheduled events may change in the event of an emergency without notice. If that occurs, STR will work to notify and reschedule the tour with those who have signed up for that day.
