SKYHope Recovery Program for Women is a part of the Recovery Ky Programs. Recovery Ky Programs were developed to address substance use disorder for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Residents are able to stay in the apartments for approximately 2 years. The program is based on the spiritual program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Funding comes from Grants, CDBG, KHC, contract with the Department of Corrections, community donations, and fundraising. The program is not billable through Medicaid and length of stay is based on the need of the individual. Once a resident has complete the program they may remain on site as they seek employment, secondary education and training while continuing their recovery program.
