Armica Naaba
Program Manager
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Armica is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science | Sports Management degree and a minor in Sports Marketing. She also holds a Master of Science in Education | Sports Administration degree from the University of Miami. She is currently working on completing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D) - Applied Learning Sciences degree form the University of Miami as well.
Her professional affiliations include the North American Society of Sports Management, Sports Marketing Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and the National Association of Realtors.
Her philanthropic affiliations include Founder and President of Transition 360 Foundation Inc., and Executive Director of NBA Power Forward Paul Millsap’s, Paul Millsap Foundation.
Nicholas Asante

Mr. Asante-Manu was born in Ghana and came to live in the United States at the age of 11. His education in the U.S. began at Mount Vernon Woods Elementary School. Later, attended Holmes Middle School and Annandale High School (AHS) where He graduated in 2003. During his years at Annandale High School, he participated and was a key member of the football and track team. He always had a passion for politics and international relations at that young age in which participated and was a key member of the Young Democrats and Republicans. He became the president of the Young Democrats and Republicans Club.
After graduating from high school in 2003 he attended George Mason University where he graduated with a degree in Government and International Politics in 2010. He’s currently working as a government contractor in the field of Information Technology and Security in the National Capital Region. As a government contractor, he has worked and supported the Intelligence Community, DOD and currently supporting The Mitre cooperation.
Mr. Asante-Manu is passionate about helping those less fortunate in Ghana, and the rationale for this is his firm belief that "to whom much is given, much is required". The United States has given him, and his family unimaginable opportunities and they are forever grateful.
Dr. Karim Kahn

Karim Khan, MD has over 15 years of expertise in the healthcare field spanning from clinical research in the peripheral cardiovascular system and biomedical device innovation to functional medicine and healthcare management. For the past 8 years, he has focused on nutraceutical research and formulation.
Dr. Khan’s early career focused on peripheral interventional cardiology targeting vascular disease processes and was involved with various FDA-pre-approved devices for their effectiveness in treating peripheral vascular disease in clinical research. He later focused his research on the functional medicine space, where he learned that many of the chronic diseases of the body occurred because of supplemental deficiencies. Realizing how supplemental deficiencies could alter the outcome and treatment of chronic diseases, he used his medical expertise to formulate and produce his own nutraceutical line, focusing on some of today’s most common chronic diseases and ailments.
Dr. Khan has overseen Patient Safety Indicators (PSI) and a Hospital-Acquired Conditions Reduction Program at one of the largest teaching hospitals in Georgia; he also taught and promoted healthcare quality and clinical performance improvement where he served as a Co-chair of the Best Practice committee. In addition, he has served as an Assistant Professor on the Clinical Research Committee at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. He is a graduate of St. Christopher College of Medicine and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
Erika Mitchell

Erika Y. Mitchell was born and raised in Atlanta. A graduate of Alabama State University, by taking advantage of a full athletic scholarship. She won numerous awards for her stellar athletic performance, including the Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Mitchell earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems yielding her the knowledge and opportunity to work for major global brands such as Coca-Cola, Cbeyond, and Kodak as an Information Technology (IT) specialist.
Mitchell’s passion for sports lead her to serve as the Program Advisor for Fuel Up To Play 60, work in Public Relations and Event Planning for the NFL Players Association Metro Atlanta Chapter, and Mitchell is the founder of Atlanta Women In Sports.
Mitchell is currently an elected School Board Member for Atlanta Public Schools. Mitchell has led the school board with her work in policy development. Mitchell wrote the first school district's Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking policy, Trauma-Informed Practices policy, and Restorative Justice policy, co-wrote the Atlanta Public School Equity policy, and authored the Equity and Anti-Racism Resolution for Atlanta Public Schools. In addition, Mitchell, wrote the language for the National School Board Association’s Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking resolution, Trauma-Informed Practices resolution, and Restorative Justice resolutions, which urges the US Congress to provide funding, programming, education, awareness, and advocating for national policy. Mitchell is also serving as one of the Board of Directors on the Atlanta BeltLine.
