You're Invited!

You are cordially invited to our Team DetermiNation Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend Brunch on November 2nd! In celebration of your incredible training and fundraising accomplishments we'd love for you and your family/friends to join us for a private team get-together in the Cape Cod Hall at the Yacht Club Convention Center! This is a great opportunity to meet your teammates and to enjoy some carbs! 

This event is not open to the public. All attendees must RSVP in advance in order to attend. The venue has limited capacity and may sell out, which is why we ask that you reserve your ticket ASAP.

Date: Saturday, November 2, 2024
Time: Approximately 11am-2pm (Please note, Disney has the authority to change this time slightly. Read our emails for the latest updates.) 
Location: Cape Cod Hall at the Yacht Club Convention Center
Dress Code: Casual (Disney and/or Team DetermiNation gear encouraged!)
Menu: Food will be served buffet-style and there will be vegetarian options. There will be Mickey Waffles in your future :)
If you have any dietary restrictions (beyond being a vegetarian), please email ashley.laplaca@cancer.org to let us know.
What to Expect: The event will include a brief mission program with speakers from your team, a team/group photo, activity stations, and time to meet and socialize with your teammates!

Transportation: Disney Bus Transportation is available to Disney's Yacht Club Resort from all Disney Resorts and Parks (then a short walk to the convention center). The Friendship Boat can be accessed at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios and will bring you to the Boardwalk. Disney Skyliner Transportation is available to Disney's EPCOT Center from any Disney Resort with Skyliner Access, it is a short walk away from Cape Cod Hall. If you are driving or taking a ride sharing service, the address at Disney's Yacht Club Resort is 1700 Epcot Resorts Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830.

All Team DetermiNation athletes (must be participating in 2024 Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend) are free to attend this event.

Final deadline to RSVP will be Monday, October 21, 2024.

• Team DetermiNation Athletes (you must be participating in Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend with ACS specifically): Free

• Friends/Family: $40pp 

• Children 3-10: $20pp

• Children Under 3: Free

  
  
  Please note: If you reserve a ticket for this event, you will be included in the headcount and there will be a meal for you. The chef can only make food accommodations for people with specific food allergies or dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan, diabetic, etc.) While the chefs cannot take specific meal requests, we will alert them of your dietary restrictions, and they will accommodate you. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please email me to let me know. This information needs to be brought to my attention in advance- ashley.laplaca@cancer.org. Even if you've emailed me with your dietary restrictions for a past event, please email me again as we/Disney do not keep this information on file.

We keep fees as low as possible for our race weekend gatherings and only charge a fee for guests that helps to cover our costs.
