Rules
• Contest is an Official GPC Weigh-Off Site and will follow GPC rules.
• Each contestant is limited to having one entry (one pumpkin) weighed.
• In the event of a tie, prize money will be divided between the tied positions. (if two tie for 1st place 1st place $4,000 and 2nd place $2000 will be divided and each will receive $3,000.
• Winners will be determined by the weight displayed on scales.
• Pumpkins must be in healthy and undamaged condition, free of rot, holes and cracks through the cavity, chemical residue, and soft spots.
• To be classified as pumpkin, specimen must be 75% yellow/orange in color; all others will not be eligible.
• The vine must be trimmed to one inch from the stem. No foreign material is permitted in the weighing.
• All pumpkins will be weighed without the use of tarps or other carrying devices.
• The top 3 pumpkins are required to remain Jack O'Lantern World through the end of October.
Note:
All participants must arrive 2 hours prior to the beginning of weigh-offs to check in.

1st Place - $4,000
2nd Place- $2,000
3rd Place- $1,500
4th Place- $1000
5th Place- $600
6th Place - $400
7th Place- $200
8th Place- $100
9th Place- $100
10th Place- $100
Prize money awarded based on weight.
50% of Prize money will be forfeited if pumpkin is not left on display for remainder of October. Pumpkins will be available for pickup Monday, October 30th. Any Pumpkins not picked up by Friday, November 3rd will be disposed of.
