Aspirus Ironwood Hospital and Clinics is hosting our annual Winter Formal fundraising event in collaboration with Gogebic Range Health Foundation. The Winter Formal, on Saturday, November 4, 2023 and the theme is Masquerade Ball. This year the proceeds will go towards creating a Healing Garden for patients, their visitors, and staff.  It will be in the green space between the cafeteria and newly remodeled MedSurg rooms.  The outdoors, and more specifically, intentionally created Healing Gardens can provide many therapeutic (physical and environmental) benefits to patients and staff.

For patients, Healing Gardens can significantly improve their sense of well-being, reduce stress, promote faster recovery, and help reduce feelings of anxiety and depression.

For staff, many who often deal with intensely stressful and emotional situations, Healing Gardens provide a place to de-stress.  A well-nurtured staff can reflect immediately on patient care and engage staff more effectively with patients.

What you can expect to see at the 2023 Winter Formal…45+ silent auction baskets, mystery boxes, cork pull, live auction, MASKS (it is a Masquerade Ball, after all!), dinner, dancing, and so much more! It’s going to be a great night for a great cause.  We would love to see you there!
