Information
AthFest is an annual free, three-day festival that celebrates Athens, GA’s vibrant creative culture, featuring local and regional musicians and visual artists. Thousands of people flock to the streets of historic downtown Athens each AthFest to experience live music by artists from a variety of genres, enjoy local artwork, and soak up the vibe of one of America’s coolest cities. Locals mingle with out of towners while music fills the air and art, food and fun fill the streets.
The festival includes three free outdoor stages with live music performances, a block-long Artist Market with dozens of visual artists, artisans and makers, and a block-long KidsFest area to make sure even our youngest fans get in on the music and art fun!
After the free outdoor stages wrap up Friday and Saturday nights, the official AthFest Club Crawl kicks into gear. Music venues and clubs will host lineups filled with local music.
AthFest raises money for the nonprofit AthFest Educates, which awards grants to support music and arts education for K-12 students in Athens.
AthFest Tickets and Passes Explained
- Club Crawl Passes
- Your Club Crawl Pass grants you access to 10+ venues hosting over 70 performances on Friday and Saturday nights.
- Most venues are 18+, though one or two may be 21+
- VIP Passes
- VIP Passes give you the whole AthFest experience with a few added conveniences and perks
- Access to all Club Crawl venues and performances, including access to VIP areas within The Georgia Theater and The 40 Watt Club.
- Access to VIP area by the Wicked Weed Main Stage at the outdoor festival. This area is covered so you can stay out of the sun, with tables and chairs. and an excellent view of the Main Stage Performers
- VIP - Weekend pass perks: t-shirt voucher, 6 beer vouchers, stainless steel keepsake water bottle, VIP laminate
- VIP - Friday or VIP - Saturday perks: 3 beer vouchers, stainless steel keepsake water bottle, VIP laminate
- VIP Passes give you the whole AthFest experience with a few added conveniences and perks
- Gospel Brunch Plate
- The Gospel Brunch presents traditional gospel performers in a comfortable indoor setting on Saturday morning (11AM - 2PM, June 21) at Epting Events 1055 Barber Street facility.
- Admittance to the event is FREE!
- Tickets are required to access the Sunday brunch buffet. Tickets purchased in advance are $15, those purchased at the event are $20.
