A full day of introductory training for ARES members or those who wish to learn more.  Morning includes seminars and the afternoon includes practical training/simulation in FEMA forms, Winlink, OES and American Red Cross.  All base stations will be provided.  Please bring an HT if possible, otherwise one will be provided during the exercise. 

This activity runs from 9am - 4pm.

Registration for this activity includes an ARES Bootcamp manual and a sit-down lunch.  

The POTA Workshop has been moved from Friday to all day Saturday 9:00pm-3:00pm.  Please see the new button for Saturday Registration.

The  HF University take place from 9am - 4pm with a break for lunch on your own.  These are separate events. 

The fee for the day is $10 in advance and $15 beginning on April 23.  Tickets may be available at the door if space is available.

A HamEscape one or three-day registration is required to participate in the HF University all-day programs.

The POTA Workshop has been moved from Friday to Saturday and will run from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.  There will be a break for lunch, however many participants may choose to order a lunch on site.  

The morning session will give an overview and share the use of all tools for finding a park, spotting, logging, and more.  The afternoon session will share actual POTA workstation setups including radios and antennas.  

Attendees may exit the workshop to attend other sessions if they desire.  The program will end at 3:00 and the final afternoon sessions will be available to attend from then until 5:00 pm.
