Julie Wright, President, (W)right On Communications
Julie founded integrated strategic communications firm (W)right On Communications, named by Newsweek as one of America’s Best PR Agencies of 2024. She and her team handle complex communications challenges for client partners across multiple industries including for-profit and not-for-profit brands. The (W)right On team blends traditional earned media strategies with owned content, social and paid strategies to achieve client goals. Wright serves on the boards of CalTravel, the San Diego North Economic Development Council, private company CanBiocin and TSXV-traded Innovotech. She formerly served as Chair of the SDNEDC and as a Trustee for the Tri-City Hospital Foundation. She has a passion for wildlife and animal welfare causes.
Capree Waters, Senior Content Strategist, (W)right On Communications
Capree is a results-driven Senior Content Strategist at (W)right On Communications. Capree draws on her six years of professional experience to develop and execute content and social media marketing strategies for various clients, brands and industries. She applies her SEO, brand marketing, content marketing, storytelling and data-driven strategies to increase lead generation, brand awareness and revenue growth for the agency and its client partners. Working in tandem with the agency’s PR strategists, Capree utilizes client press coverage to move people from awareness to action. Preserving natural spaces and cancer research are two causes close to Capree’s heart.
