What is the Covered Jar Workshop?

A clay workshop offered by Philadelphia Ceramic Artist, Domenic Frunzi, taking place at their studio located in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. This Workshop is for any person interested in customizing/personalizing a Frunzi Ceramic's covered jar.

During the workshop participants will first learn various carving, altering, and decorative clay techniques. They will apply said techniques to an unfired covered jar ready-made by Domenic Frunzi. Workshop jars will then be bisque-fired, glazed, and fired again for participants to pick up 3-4 weeks later. Seats are limited to 9 people per workshop.

Think of this workshop as more than a "paint a pot", it's a collaboration between you and me!

Location: 3250 Amber Street, Philadelphia, PA, USA

Parking lots and street parking located on Amber Street past Willard Street. The address for the building will take you to the FRONT entrance but my studio entrance is located in the BACK of the building in the small parking lot.
