The Fleet Feet Dash for Doobie, part of the NCRunners Elite family of meets, is a charity fundraiser for a scholarship that celebrates the life of former Reagan runner Nick "Doobie" Doub, who was killed in a single car accident in January of 2011. Yearly scholarships are awarded to two Reagan students and two Dash for Doobie participants who have successfully overcome great obstacles in their life. The entry fees for the Dash for Doobie are the primary means of financial support for these scholarships.
