Your are invited to our upcoming fundraising event, "Dining with the Chefs," a special evening dedicated to celebrating and recognizing the incredible support from our sponsors. Thanks to everyone for your continued support over the years. We look forward to celebrating with you and acknowledging the vital role your organization has played in the growth of Community Kitchen Program.
This event will take place on September,13 2024 at Northside 333 Jeremiah Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28262
We would be honored to have you join us for a memorable dinner and show event.
As part of the evening's show, will be recognizing several of our esteemed sponsors and community partners, including: Scott Clark Toyota, Northside Charlotte, Ethiopian Evangelical Church of Charlotte, St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Christ Episcopal Church and https://svpcharlotte.org/
This is a very special time for our program as we are entering a new phase in our development, establishing dynamic new partnerships, and offering our students incredible new opportunities. Our upcoming Community Kitchen classes will present a unique and exciting opportunity to our students to expand their career exploration experiences by participating in creation of dynamic media projects through our partnership with Scion Media (www.scionmedia.org). These opportunities will include integrated media production classes that address presentation, language, business, and project-planning skills resulting in production of multiple media projects including:
Digital Edge TV : Career exploration of culinary career pathways)
CharlotteNOW.TV : Community TV programs looking at culinary-related stories around Charlotte
Community Kitchen Cooking Show : Online cooking tutorials distributed on Kitchen Co-Pilot App
Through these classes, Community Kitchen students will learn valuable business and life skills while serving their community through production of relevant, educational media content!
The "Show" portion of our evening will be our team demonstrating all of these opportunities live at our "Dining With the Chefs" event as we broadcast our first episode of Digital Edge TV "Careers in the Culinary Arts" live on stage! Join us as we interview top culinary professionals and introduce this dynamic new live interactive learning platform to our community through a LIVE simulcast on the web!
We hope to see you there!
Warm regards,
Robel Mamo
