Join us for our 2025 Pancake Breakfast at Fowler Park! Enjoy a breakfast of hot pancakes, sausage and drinks. All syrup for the breakfast will be made at Prairie Creek! Learn about primitive maple sap boiling and visit some of the pioneer cabins. After head to Prairie Creek to have a tour of our maple syrup operation! You can learn how we tap trees, boil and bottle our syrup. By visiting Prairie Creek Park you can enter your ticket for a drawing to win a free bottle of maple syrup. Tickets will be $8 per person with children 2 and under free. The breakfast is from 8:30 - 12:30 with advance ticket purchase, with a time slot, required. All proceeds go to the Fowler Park Pioneer Village Folk, the nonprofit volunteer group who runs the Pioneer Village at Fowler Park.

The Pioneer Village Folk were created to represent the Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department in historical interpretation and reenactment within the Pioneer Village. They are essential for our events in the village like Summer in the Village, Pioneer Days, Mini Pioneer Days and Christmas Walk. As a group they are responsible for representing the Pioneer skills and crafts seen in the village at our beloved events. Proceeds will go back towards the Pioneer Village through the Village Folk.
