What's Happening?

A pre-valentines day fun filled evening when the
Friends of the Johnson Public Library present Drag Queen Bingo with the
fabulous Harmonica Sunbeam.

The event is a fund raiser for the Friends of the Johnson Public Library, including several rounds of recreational bingo presented at no charge and solely for your amusement. There will be plenty of giveaways, prizes, photo ops, and entertainment throughout the evening. Beer, wine, and light refreshments are included.

At the Johnson Public Library, 274 Main Street, Hackensack, NJ.
From 6 - 8 pm Friday February 7.

Who is Harmonica Sunbeam?

Harmonica Sunbeam, The Comedy Queen, has been delighting audiences at nightclubs, cabarets, and fundraising events throughout the United States and abroad for over 27 years. Miss Sunbeam showcases her unique ability to uplift, encourage and engage children through the Drag Story program, where drag queens go into libraries, bookstores, festivals and other events to read books to kids of all ages. The Friends of the Library have funded her performance for the Library's annual program in the Children's Department.

About the Friends

The Friends of the Johnson Public Library is an independent 501(c)(3) organization whose primary purpose is to support and advocate for the library’s mission as the community’s  destination for discovery, learning, and making connections, through Fundraising, Advocacy, and Volunteer Work.  We are a community volunteer driven organization. Through fundraising, we will seek to raise money for the Library in order to fund programs, services, infrastructure and technology that are beyond the Library’s financial capacity.  Through advocacy, we will make the case for increased understanding of, and support for, the role of the Library in today's society. Through volunteer work, we will expand the ability of the Library to offer programs and services.

The Friends of the Johnson Public Library is an independent  501(c)(3) organization and all net proceeds will benefit the Johnson Public Library.
