Who We Are
Harrybrooke Park & Harden House Museum

Harrybrooke Park, known to some as the hidden gem of New Milford, was given as a gift, in its entirety, to the "People of New Milford" in 1965. The park itself is a sprawling 48 acres with a mix of terrain and views. The museum, once a weekend home to the original owners and gift givers, Frank and Elizabeth Harden, sits upon the river and partially serves as an office for the incredibly small staff who keeps the park open. Harrybrooke, an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization, receives no federal, state, or local funding and relies on donations and fundraising for the upkeep of the aforementioned museum and grounds. Without the generosity of our donors and volunteers, who collectively put in 10,000 hours a year, the park would not be able to keep that gates open 365 days a year at NO cost to the visitors, as it currently does. Fundraisers, such as the Harrybrooke Open, are a necessity when it comes to raising the dollars needed to keep the park maintained and open. We hope to see you on the green, or at least at the 19th hole for three or FORE!
