The Jefferson County Cancer Coalition Cancer Walk, presented by UW Cancer Center, is a community gathering that allows everyone to fight back against cancer.  Teams will put up a tent at the Fort Atkinson High School Track and Field and take turns walking or running around the track.  At the event, participants celebrate survivors, remember loved ones lost, and learn more about how to fight back against cancer.  The Cancer Walk will raise much-needed funds, while increasing awareness of cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and services available right here in Jefferson County.

The financial burden of cancer treatment, transportation costs to and from treatments, co-pays, insurance premiums, prescription and medical bills, and other hidden costs is overwhelming, even for families with good insurance coverage.  The Jefferson County Cancer Coalition is here to aid any cancer fighter in our community.

The Jefferson County cancer victims who reach out to the Cancer Coalition need food, rent, utility support, mortgage assistance, medical bill assistance, and more.

In 2023, we assisted 62 families totaling $124,000 worth of aid.

The Jefferson County Cancer Coalition was founded in 2012 by a local cancer fighter and her team of supporters to offer financial assistance to ANY Jefferson County cancer victim.
