Join the Ladies That UX Richmond in partnership with VCU Brandcenter for UX Portfolio Perspectives, a portfolio review event designed to help you elevate your UX portfolio game and connect with industry peers and professionals. 

Join us on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 5pm-7:30pm at the VCU Brandcenter.

You'll learn about best practices for putting together a UX portfolio and how to talk about it at interviews, get feedback on your portfolio from UX peers and industry professionals, and have a chance to ask a panel of experienced UX experts your questions and discuss challenges from the process.

5:15pm-5:45pm portfolio best practices, how to talk about your portfolio, what hiring managers are looking for 
5:45pm-6:45pm paired feedback
6:45pm-7:30pm panel Q&A, wrap up

Parking near Brandcenter: 
There is free and metered street parking around the building, but please note that the BC and BL Lots are VCU-permit only. Pay-by-the-hour visitor parking is available in the JL Lot (Chili's Lot) at 200 W. Cary St. You can enter the JL Lot from Madison or Jefferson Streets (between Main and Cary). Once parked, note your space number/license number and enter it into the machine. Place the receipt on your dashboard before you head over to the Brandcenter building. 

YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR PORTFOLIO BY APRIL 11TH IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE. A link to submit your portfolio will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
