Am I going to get dirty?
We are a haunted attraction located in the woods, and also use makeup and props that could possibly have dirt, mud, fake blood, or other things on them. Please leave your Gucci at home…
What kind of shoes should I wear?
CLOSED TOE SHOES we are in THE WOODS!!
Will there be long lines?
Hard to predict but we have had long lines in the past and work every year to improve this.
We have been working on something this year that we think will make a big difference!
Will there be screaming/noise inside the haunt?
You can 100% expect screaming! Whether it is coming from you, another guest or a scare actor!
Will I get blood on me in the Extreme Haunt?
Yes - BUT - We have shirts, or a full Body suit and shoe covers you can purchase for an extra price to wear while going through
Will I get Bloody in the Harvest Haunt?
No - If you have a glow band on a spirit can touch you but that is it
Will the actors touch me?
Only if you purchase an extra experience ticket. Or if you go through the Extreme Haunt
Can children enter and at what age?
Yes, if you feel they are old enough to handle it yes, we don't put age restrictions
How long does it take to go through the haunt?
Depending on the time of arrival, they may be a higher than normal wait in the cue line, but it’s worth it. Once you get in, however, it could take between 30-45 minutes to go through, depending on how you scare. If you freeze, walk slow, walk fast, etc
In the Extreme Haunt if it is too much can I ask them to stop or be let out?
Yes you will be given a safe word before entering
Can I bring my cell phone?
Yes at your own risk of damage or losing it. So please either leave them in your car or keep them safe and secured well
Can I video the haunt or take pictures?
Absolutely not, once you are caught doing so, you will be escorted off the haunt property without finishing going thru the haunt.
If I am still in line after closing time will I be able to go though?
YES - we do not close until the LAST WARM BODY goes though
*** While we do offer photo pass locations, the use of filming, flash photography, or use of any non theatrical lighting to include flashlights, etc. is strictly prohibited and is enforced by Lake Joy security. For the safety of others in your party and our actors, we ask that you refrain from any cell phone use until the end of the experience.
