As summer begins to close and school doors start to open, we invite fathers and sons to start the school year with a memory that will meld their relationship for years to come. Join us in Black Mountain, NC for a fun-filled weekend of games, challenges, and fun surprises. Here's a short list of what's on the agenda: rocket launching, dodge ball, archery, climbing wall, swimming, s'mores, flag-football, 50-ft challenge courses, and some unique experiences we’d rather keep within the “Man Code.”

Do you sleep in tents?

This is our #1 question. No, we stay in hotel-style rooms with two double beds and a private bath.

How's the food?

Great! Friday night is our "Real Men's BBQ", Three "squares" on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. We have a few snacks along the way.

What's the schedule?

Check-In on Friday 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Check-out on Sunday at 11:45am
We will send a detailed schedule in the days leading up to the event.

What ages can attend?

Due to the physical nature of various components, boys must have completed 1st grade and up.

What is the cost?

Because so many have requested this in the past, we are providing an additional option to upgrade to an air-conditioned room. Please note that this price difference reflects the additional fees that the retreat charges for these rooms.

Weatherford Hall:
Each room has one double bed, one single bed, and a private bathroom. This building does not have air conditioning. All linens and towels are provided.
Cost for father & one son: $350 ($125 for each additional son)

Blue Ridge Center:
Each room in Blue Ridge Center is equipped with air conditioning, two queen beds, and private baths. All linens and towels are provided.
Cost for father & one son: $425 ($125 for each additional son)
Rooms in Blue Ridge Center are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is included in the cost?

Two nights' stay, five meals, activities, t-shirt, snacks, model rocket, craft item, and more!

When is this event?

This is our annual fall event. Our plan is to host this event the weekend before Labor Day weekend each year.

How can I be a sponsor?

If you would like to support this event, we have several sponsorship opportunities. You can be a title sponsor, an event sponsor, or even scholarship a father and son.
