Workshop Registration
Information
This event will bring together professionals working on climate adaptation issues in Maine and New Hampshire to learn and share ideas related to the topic of climate migration.
This event is being hosted by the Maine Climate Change Adaptation Providers Network (CCAP) and the New Hampshire Coastal Adaptation Workgroup (CAW). This workshop is being designed in conjunction with a subproject team (that includes CAW and CCAP members) involved in the NEST (A Northeast Safe and Thriving for All) project. The NEST project is the result of a planning grant funded by the NOAA RISA program that aims to explore what climate migration means for the northeast and identify related research questions, partners, and strategies for equitable adaptation. Several CAW and CCAP members are involved in the NEST project, and this workshop presents an opportunity for our networks to dig into this important topic together.
Registration Fee
The registration fee for the day is $20 to help cover lunch and other event expenses; the registration page also has a waived fee option. The planning team for this event is committed to ensuring this workshop is accessible to every person who wants to attend and so we are offering a sliding scale of registration fees. Individuals should consider the waived fee if, for example, they are a presenter/panelist, an unpaid community advocate or organizer, or a student, unemployed, underemployed, retired, or have limited financial resources.
