Event Description
A Fairer Future: Supporting Special Education and Behavioral Health with Virtual Reality
Join us at this year's Natchaug Benefit Luncheon to learn how the Natchaug Schools will be using virtual reality (VR) in the classroom to provide a more engaging and comprehensive academic experience for our students. VR can be used in classrooms to engage students in simulations that teach difficult to comprehend concepts through visualization techniques. Whether it's a science experiment or a history lesson or a virtual field trip, VR will help increase accessibility to learning for our students. Additions like VR to our curriculum help Natchaug students stay abreast of the most recent developments in education being utilized in their public schools which, in turn, ensures that upon reentering the public school system our students are well prepared.
Natchaug Schools offer a wide array of K-12 programs to meet the needs of individual students. We work with students on social, emotional, and behavioral health challenges to give them every opportunity to succeed.
