What is the Lantern Festival?

The Lantern Festival will be a fun, family friendly event with lots of activities all culminating in a lantern parade/stroll at dusk thru Canton’s Etowah River Park. The Festival is a benefit event for the Never Alone Community Food Pantry in Woodstock GA.

Etowah River Park  -  600 Brown Industrial Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114

Activities begin at 4:00 pm 

Parade line-up begins at 7:15 pm.

Proceeds benefit Never Alone Community Food pantry located in Woodstock, GA.

Festival Activities?

There will be a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, spin art, and much more, including activities for adults, at no charge for ticketed attendees.  Various food options will be available for purchase. The highlight of the festival will be an organized lantern parade at dusk. Lanterns are provided along with purchased tickets.

How do I get my lantern(s)?

Lanterns (with light & stick) may be picked up in advance or day of event.

  • Advance pick up is available at Never Alone Food Pantry, 29 Rope Mill Road, Woodstock. 

    Monday - Friday 9:00 - 3:30

    Saturday 10:00 - 1:00

  • A decorating station will be available for those who pick up their lantern the day of event.
