Information
OWLS (Older, Wiser, Livelier Scholars) is a weekly hand-on program designed to help adults connect with the natural world. Weekly topics are based on seasonal happenings at Maywood and feature a combination of indoor and outdoor activities. Participants should dress for the weather, wear shoes/boots appropriate to a variety of trail conditions, and bring their sense of adventure. For some programs, participants may need to bring some basic supplies. See the listings below for details. On days of inclement weather, an indoor program will be offered if possible.
