The Capital Pride Honors (*SOLD OUT)

The Capital Pride Alliance is honored to once again acknowledge outstanding individuals, leaders, and activists in the National Capital Region who have furthered causes important to the LGBTQ+ community. Join us for the annual Capital Pride Honors on Friday, June 11, as we collectively celebrate the incredible community honorees who tirelessly contribute to our collaborative advocacy, outreach, education, and programming in support of our intersectional community. 

This year’s event will be held at the newly unveiled, state-of-the-art Compass Coffee Factory in Ivy City. Featuring multiple levels of event space, this unforgettable evening will include a celebratory cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres and dessert stations, awards ceremony, and an exclusive music video premiere of the song “Colorful” by the band SHAED, featuring members of DC’s LGBTQ+ community.

Want to keep the party going? Join us for the OFFICIAL Capital Pride Opening Party afterwards! Beginning at 10PM, the Opening Party will feature the beats by DJ Chords, along with special performances.

Your admission ticket includes:

• Access to the Honors reception including light hors d'oeuvres
• Cash bar
• Access to the Award ceremony
• Exclusive access to view the music video premiere of the song “Colorful” by the band SHAED, featuring members of DC’s LGBTQ+ community.
• A meet and greet and photo opportunity with members of the international pop band, SHAED

Capital Pride Honors attendees who wish to remain at the venue past 10 PM to enjoy the official Capital Pride Opening Party, will need to also purchase an Opening Party ticket. To save, purchase the combo ticket and the open bar package.

PRIDE is BACK and we’re ready for a party! Be Colorful and join us on June 11th as we come together as a community and celebrate the OFFICIAL launch of Pride weekend in the Nation’s capital. The Capital Pride Opening Party is proud to partner with Compass Coffee for an unforgettable event at their newly unveiled, state-of-the-art factory in Ivy City, including multiple levels and Pride weekend’s largest outdoor dance floor. The evening will feature the beats by DJ Chord, plus appearances by Jazzmin and other local performers. Enjoy beverages by our proud advocates, Tito’s Vodka, Heineken, Barefoot and Compass’ Nitro Cold Brew station to keep the party going! 

Venue(s):

In addition to Compass Coffee and their outside breezeway, attendees will be able to enjoy the space provided by D.C. Other Half Brewing. The event is both outdoors and indoors, with some covered spaces outdoors. The main dance floor will be outdoors under a covered awning.

Limited Street parking is available. Please drive responsibly.
