We would like to invite you to support Brady’s Bridge through sponsorship of our 2022 Super Family Fund Run on May 21st. We are seeking sponsors to help make the event special. Will you help us with our cause and join us as a sponsor?

In 2016, when our son Brady entered Kindergarten, we realized there was not an after-school care program that would enroll him, due to his needs. Typical programs are allowed to staff 1 adult to as many as 22 kids.  Because Brady has a feeding tube and several other diagnoses, including a seizure disorder, they could not provide the individualized care that he required in that setting. We knew there were hundreds of other families faced with the same challenge.  

We are currently funding our own after school care program for kids like Brady, where the ratio will be 1 adult to 6 kids or fewer. Our building is undergoing the construction process, and volunteers and donations are crucial to our success. The monthly tuition is not enough to fund a lower ratio program.  Thus, we need YOUR help to provide this ongoing specialized care to local children. Proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Brady’s Bridge after-school care program for kids of all abilities, including those with special needs.

Why should you be involved?

Your support makes a difference! It gives kids like Brady an option for after-school care while also allowing parents of kids with special needs the ability to continuing working and providing care for their child. Statistically, kids who participate in after-school programs benefit in many areas including: elevated self-esteem, enhanced positive behavior, improved social competence, improved school attendance and greater aspirations. Children with special needs should not be denied those benefits, due to a lack of available accommodations. We hope you will support our efforts and join other sponsors as we raise $50,000 towards construction and supply costs this year.
