Come explore South Lake Tahoe’s variety of edible and medicinal plants with Sierra Nevada Alliance and Gina Woods. Join us for a two-part series of nature walks led by Gina, where participants will learn how to use, identify, and care for the region's native species.
In this two-part series, participants will learn about local edible and medicinal plants. Gina will also offer a selection of books and resources during the event. All are welcome to attend one event as a standalone or both events with a discounted rate.

About Gina:
Gina Woods is a master clinical herbalist, nutritionist, botanist/ecologist, holistic health practitioner, and proprietor of Woods Apothecary Academy of Healing Arts in South Lake Tahoe, California.
Woods Apothecary is a community-based education center where classes are available for botanical studies, cooking/nutrition, yoga, art, music, dance, ecology, permaculture, and all things related to the healing arts.
Gina has been a dedicated educator and practitioner of bioregional herbalism, ecology, and ethnobotany in the Sierra Nevada for over 20 years, reconnecting people with nature and place through guided tours of local flora and fauna.
