FAQ
1. Will there be seating available?
There are some picnic tables in the park, but they will be first come first serve. We suggest bringing chairs or blankets to sit on to enjoy the show.
2. Can I get there early to save a spot?
To ensure the safety of our guests, staff and vendors, guests will not be permitted in the park until the gates open at 4pm.
3. Can I bring a cooler or food to the event?
No outside food or beverage is permitted to our events. There will be a variety of food trucks and drink vendors, including a beer garden, to take care of your hunger and thirst!
4. Is this a kid friendly event?
Burnside Tourism strives to make all of our events appropriate and fun for all ages! While Friday is more of a concert feel, it will certainly be appropriate (and FREE!!) to bring children. We will also have a wonderful kids area set up on Saturday near our vendor alley. (And again – kids 12 & under are FREE!)
5. Can I bring a stroller or wagon in to the event?
Strollers and small wagons would be fine inside the park. But please remember that there is limited paving in the park, so it may be difficult to navigate some of the park terrain.
6. Where can we park?
There will be parking available in the large gravel lot next to City Hall. This lot typically fills up first. There will also be parking available in the grass lot across from City Hall. You can also park at Burnside Elementary and Jordan Christian Academy and we will be offering a free shuttle service from those lots.
7. How much does it cost to get in?
Kids 12 and under are free both Friday and Saturday night. Admission for adults is $15/night – or $25 for a weekend pass. Tickets can be purchased online ahead of time, or at the gate with cash or card. We will have 2 gates for this event – the lower gate will cash only. Prepaid tickets and purchases at the gate using a card will need to be done at the upper gate, directly behind the Burnside Police Department.
8. Is there an extra cost if you’re drinking alcohol?
There is not an extra cost for an alcohol wristband, however, you will need to show proper ID at one of the gates for an additional wristband if you plan to purchase anything from the beer garden.
