As we did last year, Takeout 25 will partner with Oak Park Homelessness Coalition, Housing Forward, and the Village of Oak Park to provide food from local restaurants to local warming centers over the coldest winter months. The main effort will start January 4th, 2023, but the unseasonably cold temperatures we're experiencing have necessitated opening this shelter at Rush Oak Park Hospital immediately.

Several local restaurants have signed up to support this effort with subsidized meals over the coming weeks. To sustain these efforts through the winter months in a way that supports restaurants and the people who find themselves needing the shelter, we will have to raise some funds.
