Vehicle Meter Points

The following intersections are vehicle access meter points where vehicles will be able to cross the race route to travel in and out of the area. Please note access is up to the officer stationed there's discretion and vehicles may need to wait several minutes before they are able to cross the race route.

• Waters Avenue and Henry Street
• Waters Avenue and Washington on the west side of Daffin Park 
• Cuba Street and 56th Street to let residents get in or out of the neighborhood surrounded by the race path on 52nd Street, Ward, Brevard Circle, Fleet and Skidaway

Victory Drive Access

Prior to 8:00am

• Victory Drive will be closed at Vicotry and Reynolds from 8:00am-11:15am
• Prior to 8:00am, vehciles may be able to cross the race route and travel to Tybee Island and West Savannah. Please note this meter point will be up to the officer stationed there's discreation and we reccomend leaving plenty of extra time to travel
• Southbound Truman will remain open all day and is an alterante option to travel southbound during the event

After 8:00am

• Westbound Victory Drive Detour
  • Westbound traffic on Victory Drive can detour on SB Truman to Derenne
• Eastbound Victory Detour (east of Reynolds)
  • To travel north: use Victory eastbound, to NB Wallin Street to Pennsylvania
  • To travel south: Use SB Truman 
• Eastbound Victory Detour (west of Reynolds)
  • Vehicles detoured north or south at MLK or Abercorn to access to I-516/I-16.
  • NB I-16 Closure at Gwinnett and MLK
    clears at 9:30AM, allowing for northbound traffic into downtown to southbound Truman to exit at Victory

Downtown Savannah 

• Access in and out of the Downtown Savannah area will be very limited between the hours of 7am-9am. We highly reccomend parking outside of the closure area if you need to leave during this time. Thank you for your understanding.
