How It Works
The Ville to Ville Sprint Relay is a team relay that covers 21 miles along the Green Line Section of the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville, SC.
Teams will consist of two or three runners who will split 6 legs. Each leg starts and finishes at Holland Park in Greenville, SC, so no team vehicle is needed other than to get you to the starting line.
At 10 am, your first runner will run the 6-mile out and back leg. They will then pass the team's timing chip to your second runner. Your second runner will then run the 5-mile leg. When your second runner finishes, they will pass the team's timing chip to the third runner. Your third runner will then run the 4-mile leg. The six, five and four mile legs all overlap and head eastbound on the trail toward the Verdae development. Once the 4-mile leg is complete, your next runner will run the 3-mile leg, the next runner the 2-mile leg, and your final runner will run the 1-mile leg. The three, two and one mile legs all overlap and head westbound on the trail towards Cleveland Park. There will be directional signage and hydration support on the course. Teams must run the leg distances in descending order.
All teams will finish at Holland Park between Noon and 2:30 pm with a finish line celebration, including music, food, and craft brews. Holland Park is home to Double Stamp Brewery, Home Team BBQ, Greektown Express and Flying Rabbit Adventures. Plan to hang out after your run, meet new friends, watch some college football, and enjoy a fall Saturday in the South!
