Training Plan - We have created a 12-week training plan for the beginner to intermediate runner specifically designed to prepare you for the Sprint Relay. Our plan starts the week of July 7th and features 4 days a week of running with 3 days each week of active rest. Weekly mileage starts at 10 miles per week, peaks at 25 miles per week, and incorporates running hills and speed work to prepare you for race day. Training plans will be available in June.
Team Pace - This is a running event. Each team must have an average team pace of 12:00 minutes per mile or less for us to plan law enforcement and volunteer support on the course. Each team member will provide an estimated 5K race pace when registering.
On Course Aid - There will be a water station at the 1.2-mile mark on the eastbound legs and a water station at the 0.8-mile mark on the westbound legs.
On Course Directions - There will be directional signage and volunteer/staff support to help with on-course directions.
