She works with athletes who set big dreams, and do the hard work to make those dreams a reality. She holds her athletes accountable, and believes there is no shortcut in the endurance journey.

Alison Freeman, NYX Endurance, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Ninja

Coach Alison Freeman is a USAT LII Long Course and IRONMAN Certified Coach with a decade of coaching experience, and is a co-founder and Chief Operating Ninja of NYX Endurance, a women-led coaching group based in Boulder and San Diego. She is a frequent contributing author for Triathlete Magazine, often writing articles that translate complex topics for the everyday reader. Alison has an MBA from UC, Berkeley and nearly two decades of small business experience across four different businesses. She has presented at the USAT Coaching Exchange and the Feisty Business Accelerator and has led beginner triathlete workshops at Colorado Multisport since 2018.

As a coach, Alison primarily works with middle-of-the-pack long-course athletes and particularly enjoys working with beginner triathletes and triathletes who are new to long-course racing. As a coach and as a writer, she excels in athlete education and believes that improving a triathlete's training and racing IQ is the best way to set them up for success. As a business owner, Alison specializes in finance and operations, believing that numbers can tell a story and that you can always create a system to make processes more efficient.

Alison has over a decade of experience racing in triathlon across all distances, but prefers the gruelling challenge of long-course racing.

She resides in Boulder, Colorado with her husband and her two dogs, and constantly looks forward to the weeks when her how-are-they-grown-ups-now kids come home.
