Elf Run Information

When: 9am on Christmas Eve
Where: William White YMCA Parking Lot

This festive run is for all running speeds and abilities. Average pace will be 10-11 minute miles and will be a no drop run. We will wait for everyone to catch up at major intersections along the way. Total distance will be between 4 and 4.5 miles. Please join us and bring your running friends and family!  Wear your hats, bells, and most festive attire.

Gather in the parking in lot of the William White YMCA by 9am on Christmas Eve.  We'll take a group photo and then head out for a social run.

Elf Run Rules

• Be safe: Run on sidewalks when available, especially on busier roads. Stop at intersections and stop lights, and only cross at crosswalks and/or when you have the right of way. Look both ways for traffic.
• Be considerate: Respect other runners, pedestrians and car traffice. Don't run more than two abreast, especially in busy areas. Give way to other pedestrians and warn other runners of hazards. 
• Stick together: Faster runners should stop and wait periodically so others can catch up. Don't leave anyone behind.
• Be joyful and friendly: Greet people including pedestrians and passing vehicles with a wave.
• Follow the route: Stick to the designated route. Let someone know if you plan to abandon the route at any point.
• Have fun!
