Kurt Hurelbrink has lived in North Carolina for 24 years.  He currently works for the Wake County Public School System and lives with his husband, Arthur, and their two cats, Titus and Tillie.

Kurt began volunteering for CMF by serving on the CMF 31 Court.  Since then he has served as Queen of the Court, member of the Board of Directors, and as Board President.  Currently, he is the Secretary for the Board.  He enjoys working with CMF because the funds that are raised are given directly back to the community.  Kurt says, “It has been an incredible experience working with CMF.  Some of my closest friends have come from working together with CMF.”
